Love Your Knees — And the Body That Depends on Them
Victory In Motion, Home of Knee Repair, NOT Knee Replacement®
One of the things I have always appreciated about Manlius is the strong sense of community. From the beautiful village center and Swan Pond to the sidewalks where neighbors walk, run, and catch up with one another, Manlius is the kind of place where people value staying active and connected. It is a community that clearly appreciates health, movement, and quality of life.
And that starts with healthy joints.
Your knees—and your other joints—carry you through life. They help you work, raise a family, travel, play sports, walk the dog, and spend time with friends and grandchildren. But when knee or other joint pain begins, many people are eventually told there is only one solution: surgery or joint replacement.
But what if there was another way to think about joint care?
At Victory In Motion, our philosophy centers on identifying the true root cause of knee or other joint pain rather than rushing directly to replacing the joint. Pain often begins long before severe arthritis develops. It may involve underlying bone stress, inflammation, muscle imbalance, or movement patterns that affect how the body functions as a connected system.
When we take the time to identify those factors, we can often design a plan that supports the body’s natural ability to repair and function better.
That process begins with what we call a Clarity Day—a comprehensive evaluation designed to uncover the true root cause of knee or other joint pain. From there, we build a personalized plan that may include regenerative medicine procedures along with V-Motion Fit, our total body fitness, strength and conditioning program designed to help people restore strength, mobility, and confidence.
Our goal is simple: helping people return to the activities they love—whether that’s walking through the village, enjoying parks and trails around Manlius, traveling, golfing, or spending time with family.
I recently wrote a book, Repair Not Replace, to share the philosophy behind this approach and help people understand that joint replacement is not always the only option.
Because when we focus on understanding the whole body—not just replacing parts—we often discover something encouraging: the ability to move better, feel stronger, and continue doing the things we love.
