Meet Craig Gebhard & Ellie Ediger

Life in Maple Ridge has been full of new beginnings, meaningful traditions, and plenty of memorable moments for Craig Gebhard and Ellie Ediger. Along with their son Cohen and their puppy Pearl, this family has built a home centered around connection, creativity, and making the most of everyday life.

Craig and Cohen have called Maple Ridge home since 2021, and in 2025, Ellie officially joined them after the couple married on April 5, 2025. Their wedding took place at Spain Ranch, a day they describe as the wedding of their dreams.

Although their paths crossed years earlier at Oklahoma State University, where they attended school at the same time, it was not until September of 2021 that they reconnected. With many mutual friends and similar interests, their connection quickly grew into something special.

Craig is originally from Austin, while Ellie grew up in Enid. After graduating from Oklahoma State in 2011, they each found their own way to Tulsa before eventually finding their way back to one another.

Today, the family stays busy with work, school, and home life. Craig works as an electronics engineer at Tactical Electronics in Broken Arrow. Ellie owns her own interior design firm, Ellie Ediger Interiors, where she works as an interior designer. Cohen is 10 years old and finishing his fourth-grade year at Council Oak Elementary School. He also enjoys playing tennis at Philcrest Tennis Club.

Their family recently welcomed a pug named Pearl, who joined them in March of this year. At just five months old, Pearl has already brought plenty of fun and energy into the household. Whether they are playing with her at home or taking walks through Maple Ridge, she has quickly become a beloved part of the family.

When they are not working or at school activities, Craig and Ellie spend much of their free time restoring their 100-year-old home. The house had previously been used as a rental property for 20 years, and while it needs a lot of attention, they have enjoyed bringing its charm and character back to life.

Travel is another thing they love doing together. They have visited Santa Fe several times, and this summer they are looking forward to taking Cohen on a family trip to Washington.

The family also stays involved through Cohen’s school community. They especially enjoy participating in events at Council Oak, with the school’s yearly art crawl and family picnic being one of their favorite traditions.

One of their favorite neighborhood memories involves their late dog, Grover. Three years ago, they entered him in the Maple Ridge Dog Show, where he won a blue ribbon for Most Disobedient Dog after refusing to play fetch with Cohen. Grover passed away two summers ago, but the memory still makes them laugh.

Family remains one of their greatest passions. They enjoy hosting Ellie’s mom and sister, and they also love visiting Craig’s parents in Iowa, where they run a gelato shop and wine bar.

Since moving to Maple Ridge, they have fallen in love with the neighborhood’s unique homes, old trees, and sweet neighbors. For Cohen especially, having so many kids nearby has made Maple Ridge feel even more like home.
