Longer Days, Neighborhood Nights
How did we go from January to June so fast? June officially kicks off summer with the Summer Solstice on June 21st. I don’t know about you, but there’s just something glorious about a day that has sunlight until 9pm. The nights are still cool enough to gather around the fire-pit, while connecting with friends, family, and neighbors. The pool water isn’t quite warm yet, but the long cold months have the kiddos craving the refreshing, chlorinated, and fun times poolside.
The golf course is neatly preened by this point and the beverage cart is making its repetitive loops around the 27 holes. Side note; I was a beverage cart server at Tartan Fields twenty two years ago…pretty sure I could have driven those cart paths blindfolded! From the red tees to the black tees, everyone is out trying to beat their personal best (or just staying out of the rough and water!)
The end of June will find everyone diligently preparing for the 250th Birthday of America! Woohoo! From celebrating our military/veterans to picnics and fireworks, it’s sure to be the best patriotic year yet!
Stroll Medallion is all about YOU, so this summer keep in mind to share your photos! Having a culdesac cookout, Fourth of July celebration, Golf Course Shenanigans (I mean serious Golf game), or Swim Team Tournament…send pictures my way and I’ll include them in some fun summer features! Also, scan the QR code below to be added to the Stroll Medallion E-Newsletter!
I hope everyone has a wonderful start to summer, while STROLLing in the sunshine!
