Pepper & June
An Adorable Life of Naps, Socks and Endless Shenanigans

Pepper and June Anderson spend their time doing all sorts of typical dog activities, from napping and swimming in pools to chewing up socks and wrestling with each other. Pepper and June Anderson live in Mission Hills with their family, Lauren, Derek, Avery and Harper. While unrelated, these English Cream Goldens are practically sisters and will do anything to annoy each other.
June is a naughty eight-year-old rescue who’s been part of the family for six years. She loves a good nap and any chance to rip up miscellaneous socks when her people aren’t looking. While she spends most of her day napping, she periodically gets small bursts of energy, which she always uses to tackle, bite and play with Pepper.
Pepper is newly one year old and craves all sorts of puppy attention. She’s constantly carrying a toy, whether her beloved turtle toy or a plethora of rubber Kongs — making it a point to constantly show them off to visitors. When she isn’t gnawing the ears off of a squeaky toy, she’s going on long walks with her mom and dad, watching movies and attempting to swim in the pool.
Both Pepper and June love to travel, especially to the lake and Colorado, where they hike, swim, lay on porches and jump in the snow. It’s easy to spot these two light-haired dogs on their nightly walks or trips to French Market on the weekends, and anyone who does is welcome to say hi.
Thanks to these two, the Andersons advise visitors to their house to be wary of dark clothing. Unless guests want to leave looking like a polar bear covered in white tufts of fur, they might opt for something a little more dog-friendly. But the family says it’s just a sign of how much the dogs love you. The more hair, the better!
