Marie Erikson graduated from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC, Canada) in May. Her degree is a BA Honors of Philosophy with High Distinction. The “with High Distinction” is similar to summa cum laude and, at UBC, indicates she had an A average in all of her junior- and senior-level courses. She was also selected by the faculty as the student speaker at commencement. She plans to stay in Vancouver for the time being while looking to begin her career in public policy.

Maddie Joyner graduated from the Teachers College at Columbia with a degree in English. She is going to live in NYC and teach English in middle or high school.

Maddie Mosteller graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State University on May 9th, earning a degree in Geology with a minor in Mathematical Sciences. Maddie is completing a summer field study in Italy, and then she will attend North Carolina State University in the fall, where she has accepted a teaching assistantship while pursuing a master's degree in Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences.

Allen Westerfield, grandson of Ricki and Wayne Helton, graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in May. Allen will continue at UK in a radiology residency.
