Haye Designs is a painting and restoration business that offers High-End Residential Interior/Exterior painting services. I started this business to provide high-quality painting outside of the normal work I saw being done in the trades, which, to me, does not fit today’s world. We live in 2026, and painting should be perfect.  We have all the tools and skills at our disposal to make that happen.

I take my time and pay attention to the details. It’s important to me for you to admire my work years from now, not just when it’s new. I always want you to be glad that you chose Haye Designs, and I will do everything in my power to make that true.

The morals and values I put into my work make me different from everyone else. This is what lets me rest easy at night. We provide honest, excellent, finished work that is built to last. We are the last men on a project, so we finish the home.

My advice is to tackle your projects when they are small before they become bigger problems! Time, moisture, and nature are always working faster on the outside of a home. Keep an eye on the outside paint/stain of your home, and if you see any penetration in the finish, make sure to call us sooner rather than later!

I grew up in Wisconsin but have been in love with the nature, lifestyle, and landscape of North Carolina since I was a young man. I was raised in a family of successful dentists; they sculpt teeth, I sculpt walls! We all have a taste for interior design through our family line. I saw a talent we shared and knew someone in this bloodline had to make a business out of our vision! That’s how the business name arrived. Haye Designs!

Before painting, there were years of roofing and carpentry, which is where the restoration side of my business comes in. If you have a project that needs wood or drywall repair or replacement before painting, I can normally fix it. You name it, I’ll let you know if we can do it! I’m pretty handy, but painting is definitely my passion, and a way for me to express the artistry of interior design.

My lovely fiancée Nicole is a pattern specialist in the Hickory furniture industry, specializing in fashion design and clothing alterations. We both love mid-century design, antiques, and things built to last, which is where our craft comes in; let’s keep the old craft of things and structures alive!
