My name is Aly, and I operate Sun and Sage Cleaning, a residential cleaning business that helps maintain a home's beautiful shine. It all started when I was younger. I loved cleaning. As a small 4-year-old child, I asked for a vacuum for Christmas. Later in childhood, my stepmom would have a side hustle cleaning a yoga studio downtown and would take me for a cut of the money she earned. It was a fun experience, and I just enjoyed cleaning.

I started my business to earn money for college, but after the first year, I could see it growing and opportunities falling into place for it to succeed. It feels like it was meant to be!

The most unique part of Sun and Sage cleaning is me! My bubbly personality, willingness to help others, and the joy I get from helping clients set me apart from other cleaners. I get joy from making a house clean and sparkling, and from the happiness it gives my clients. I am committed to doing a great job and doing the extras that make a huge difference to my clients. I know how good it feels to come home after a long day to a clean house. I take great pleasure in attending to the details that truly make a difference to my clients.

I was born and raised in Hickory. Mom lives in Mountain View area, and Dad lives by the Valley Hills Mall. My mother's side of the family is very country, while my dad's family is more Southern Christian hospitality. Growing up, I was close with my cousins. Each summer, we would go to 2 campers that my grandpa had built a deck off of and connected, which we called our little house.  No signal, no problem! We went out fishing on the boat or rode over to the beach. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers, and I am right in the middle!

My best advice is to use a squeegee after every shower on a glass shower or glass shower door to wipe up the water. This prevents soap scum buildup and water stains.
