Santa Visits All the Good Children in Muirfield

“Ho, ho, ho!” echoed through the halls of The Muirfield Village County Club as neighborhood children arrived with their families, eager to confirm their place on Santa’s “good list” and share their Christmas wishes.
While the children were still tucked snugly in their beds, a dedicated team of elves arrived at the Club at 8:00 a.m. on December 13 to begin preparations. Cookies were arranged, crafts were set out, and—most importantly—reindeer food was mixed with care. The elves volunteered with sincerity and purpose, determined to create a magical Christmas memory for every child.
Santa made his grand entrance just as some children were loading their plates with bacon and eggs while others explored the craft room. A gentle hush of excitement settled over the space as a line formed to meet him. Parents and grandparents looked on with delighted smiles as wish lists were whispered and shared. Requests ranged from K-Pop Demon Hunter items and Apple iPads to books, kittens, and a Golden Retriever. One wish may take Santa a bit longer to fulfill: a live giraffe. Not stuffed—live. (The HOA may still be recovering.)
In The Polar Express, the Conductor reminds us, “Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can’t see.” That sentiment perfectly captures the 2025 Santa Brunch in Muirfield Village. Teenagers and volunteers gave up a busy Saturday morning to help bring wonder to their younger neighbors—simply because they are kind, generous people. Parents and grandparents arrived on time, children dressed in holiday finery, continuing a cherished tradition that brings families and neighbors together in celebration of community.
These are the unseen gifts we honor during the holidays. Even as we acknowledge that sadness exists, we make room to love those around us at Christmas.
And so, Santa and his reindeer glide away with a promise to return. A hearty “HO HO HO” lingers over Muirfield Village, echoing in our homes—and in our hearts.
