Garden Club adds Beauty Where It's Needed Most!

Muirfield Village Garden Club
Sixteen members of the Muirfield Village Garden Club met at the Delaware Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter to plant an outdoor garden of perennial flowers. The Shelter has been serving domestic violence victims and their families for over 40 years in Crawford, Delaware, Marion, Morrow, Union and Wyandot Counties. The Club's members enjoyed participating in this community service project. An outdoor garden bench and plaque will also be donated to the Shelter, to be placed next to the flower garden. Following the plantings the members enjoyed lunch at Bun's in downtown Delaware. The Club will have another community service project when they decorate the Coffman House to prepare it for the holiday tours. Interested in joining us? No gardening expertise needed! Just good fellowship and interesting meetings. Contact Membership Chair Nancy McDowell at chrlsmcdowell@bet.net for information about upcoming meetings. They will meet again on August 12 to Tour the Dublin Historical Society Museum.
