Valentine's Day: A Celebration of Love
Waylon B. - Age 6
Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on the 14th day of February. People celebrate their partners, family and friends by sending greetings and gifts to show their love and affection. This day is sometimes called St.Valentine’s Day as it originated as a christian feast day honoring a martyr named Valentine. It has since turned into a day to give cards, chocolates or flowers as an expression of your love. We asked a few of our young residents to give us insight on what they think Valentine's Day means to them.
