Meet Moose: The Toy-Loving, Tail-Wagging Cuttlebug!

Moose is searching for a loving home where he can continue to thrive with patience and care. Could he be the perfect companion for you?
Moose was rescued from the Franklin County Animal Shelter, where he was found as a stray. The kennel environment was very stressful for him, but now he’s getting the care and attention he needs. While he was already neutered when rescued, little is known about his previous home life.
Currently, Moose is staying with the team at Top Dog Daycare and Boarding, where he is showered affectionately by staff and the owners' young children. He enjoys spending time in the office, quietly playing with his toys while watching TV with the owner and her mother. A naturally cuddly dog, he will timidly gather his toys to show visitors, eager for gentle interaction.
Though he still needs to gain more weight, Moose has positively interacted with other dogs. While he hasn’t been thoroughly dog-tested, he has spent short periods around other dogs and has done well, particularly enjoying playtime with another foster dog, Sandy. He also had a good experience around a staff member’s American Bully male.
Moose isn’t a fan of being crated and will whine when confined. Since he has not yet lived in a foster home, how he would behave if left uncrated while alone is unclear. However, he sleeps in a kennel overnight at the boarding facility and does well.
