FAVORITE FRENCHIE
Millie Benton shares her take on joining the Beton family, complete with endless naps, cozy outfits, and a whole lot of love.
Hi! My name is Millie, and I’m the newest (and cutest, if I do say so myself) member of the Beton family.
Everyone agreed on my name right away, which I think shows excellent judgment on their part. “Millie” just fits me. I’m a 9-week-old French bulldog, I’m a girl, and I’m still very small, which explains why I spend most of my day doing the very important work of sleeping. Naps are my specialty. I take them seriously and often.
I can be a little shy, especially when something is new or unfamiliar, but once I feel safe, I get these short bursts of energy where I zoom around like I’ve had too much excitement all at once. Then, of course, I need another nap to recover. It’s a delicate balance.
I joined my family when they adopted me from a breeder, and honestly, I think we were meant to find each other. From the moment I came home, I was treated like a tiny princess. They say I’m the perfect puppy, and I won’t argue with that assessment.
While I don’t have any big, funny stories yet, I’m busy creating lots of small, adorable moments. Sometimes I just sit quietly and observe everything. Other times, I curl up so comfortably that no one wants to move me. I’m still learning how the world works, but I’m doing my best.
One thing I do know very well is how to be spoiled. I have multiple outfits, and yes, that includes socks. I get dressed up, admired, and cuddled constantly. I am loved on all day by everyone in the house, and I consider that my full-time job.
I’m also very popular. Apparently, a lot of people are waiting to meet me, which makes sense because I’m pretty charming. I take my role as family priority very seriously and plan to continue being adored for the foreseeable future.
Even though I’m still just a little puppy, I already feel completely at home. My days are filled with naps, cuddles, and being told how cute I am, which again, is completely accurate. I may be small, but I’ve already made a big place for myself in this family.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for another nap. Being this lovable is exhausting.
