Pepper & Piggley: Happy Pigs on the Weir Farm

My name is Pepper, and I have a friend named Piggley. We live with Ben and Christy Weir on the Weir Farm. There are three children in our family: Joanna, who is 10 years old, Knox, who is 6, and Wesley, who is 4.
Our family, the Weirs, went to a local animal swap hoping to sell some goats and lo and behold, they ended up bringing me and Piggley home instead!
We’ve been having all kinds of adventures ever since. On our very first day at our new home, we went down the hill and met some of our extended family. It was love at first sight and we had so much fun!
We have a great life here, and I just have to tell you we are very well-behaved! We’re so friendly and gentle, and we love making new friends.
One thing that makes us extra special is that we don’t root like most regular farm pigs do. And we definitely don’t like rolling in mud or getting dirty! We also don’t eat grass, but we get plenty of tasty scraps, which we really enjoy.
We even have a special talent: we can find yummy acorns from half a mile away and they’re so good for us, too!
Wesley, who is 4, loves when we lie down and roll over so he can rub our bellies. Joanna knows how much we love to be petted, and we always look for her because it makes us so happy. Knox has the best time when we give him rides around the farm!
Piggley and I have to admit we’re a wonderful addition to the Weir family, and we couldn’t ask for a better family to be part of!
OINK!
