Freedom Church
A growing, family-focused church in Murrysville is building community through faith, relationships, and a commitment to helping people discover purpose and freedom.
The Bimber Family
Since launching on March 1 of this year, Freedom Church has quickly become a welcoming spiritual home for individuals and families in the Murrysville area. As a non-denominational, Bible-based church, Freedom Church is guided by a simple yet powerful mission: helping people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make an impact in their world.
What many first-time visitors notice immediately is the church's warm and family-oriented atmosphere. Church leaders describe Freedom Church as more than a place of worship. It is a community where people are welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow in their faith journey together.
Leading the congregation are Pastor Eric and his wife, Rachel, whose personal story has shaped the heart of the church's ministry. Having both overcome addiction, they are passionate about helping others experience restoration and freedom through faith in Jesus Christ. Their commitment to authenticity, discipleship, and service is reflected throughout the church culture, where people are encouraged to discover and live out their God-given purpose.
A major focus of Freedom Church is supporting families and investing in the next generation. Freedom Kids is available during both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services and includes a nursery along with age-appropriate programs for children from age 3 through fifth grade. The church is also preparing to launch Freedom Youth in Fall 2026, creating another opportunity for young people to build relationships and strengthen their faith.
The church believes that meaningful life change happens through relationships. To foster those connections, Freedom Church plans to launch a variety of Bible study groups in Fall 2026, including co-ed groups, men's and women's groups, young adult gatherings, and book studies.
Beyond its walls, Freedom Church is committed to serving the broader community. Leaders emphasize that the church is called to bring transformation through local outreach, school partnerships, and missions around the world.
As the congregation continues to grow, Freedom Church remains focused on creating a life-giving environment where individuals and families can find support, build lasting relationships, and deepen their relationship with God.
