A little over three years ago, two Nature Trail ladies decided it would be fun to start a bunco group. So, they each found five of their friends who agreed to meet, to total 12. Most of the ladies are also from Nature Trail, but some live elsewhere within the Pensacola area. They have a fun-loving group of Christian ladies. There is also a lovely selection of substitutes that play with them. They have lost one of their original members to an unexpected death. These ladies love each other, have fun together, share recipes, talk about their children and, of course, their grandchildren, and enjoy visiting each other’s homes and having a lovely meal after they complete their rounds of bunco. They enjoy special occasions together, especially Christmas when they play “Dirty Santa” after their lunch, or in January when they have a “White Elephant” gift exchange. They celebrate birthdays and any other occasion to get together. Bunco is the game they play, but friendship and love is the best part of this cherished fellowship.
