From the Northeast to Newman Village

After enduring the harsh winters of Pennsylvania and Ohio, Troy and Dina relocated to Frisco in 2008, seeking a fresh start and a warmer climate. Five years later, they found their forever home in Newman Village, where they’ve built a life filled with friendships, community, and countless memories. The welcoming atmosphere and close-knit neighbors have made it the perfect place to raise their children, Landon and Aubrianna.

A Passion for Medicine

Both Troy and Dina have devoted their lives to medicine. Troy, a practicing orthopedic surgeon for 17 years, is the founder and owner of Performance Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Frisco. His expertise in sports medicine has allowed him to work with top athletes, including training with the Cincinnati Bengals early in his career. Dina, an internal and functional medicine physician, spent years working for Texas Health before launching her private concierge practice in 2022. Together, they are dedicated to helping others live healthier, more active lives.

An Active and Adventurous Family

The Diehl family is always on the move—literally! Whether it’s biking, running, golfing, or skiing in the mountains, they prioritize staying active and enjoying the great outdoors. They typically head to the mountains 1-2 times a year, where Troy and Landon indulge in their favorite sport—skiing. Their love for travel takes them around the world, immersing themselves in new cultures and experiences. Every summer, they continue their cherished tradition of exploring a new destination, with Italy and Hawaii ranking among their favorites.

Meet the Kids: Passionate and Driven

Landon, 15, is a standout athlete, playing varsity football and soccer at Memorial High School while also competing for the Dallas Texans ECNL team. In addition to sports, he is a member of the Youth Men’s Service Volunteer League and has a hidden talent—cooking! His bolognese sauce and chocolate chip cookies have become legendary in the household.

Aubrianna, 13, is equally active, participating in cross country, track, volleyball, and soccer, while also playing competitive soccer for Frisco Fusion. Outside of sports, she enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and indulging in her love for shopping.

A Bulldog with Personality

No family would be complete without a furry companion! Roxie, their 5-year-old English Bulldog, brings plenty of personality and charm to their home. Whether lounging around or keeping an eye on the family’s busy schedule, she’s a beloved part of their lives.

Beyond their careers, sports, and travel, what matters most to the Diehl family is the strong foundation they’ve built together. They cherish their time at home in Newman Village, surrounded by an incredible community that has become an extension of their family
