Norton Commons Social Committee
The Norton Commons Social Committee (NCSC) is a committee of the Norton Commons Residential Village Association (NCRVA) dedicated to bringing our community to life. Our official mission is to act as a catalyst of civic involvement and community development by connecting individuals and families in ways that enhance everyday life in Norton Commons. Simply put, we exist to bring people together and foster genuine connections that make Norton Commons feel like home.
We are a group of neighbors who love meeting neighbors- and creating opportunities for others to do the same. Supported through generous donations and the Norton Commons Foundation, we plan and host a variety of events designed to connect our community. From favorites like Kids Day, Dog Shows, Porch Parties, and Newcomers & Neighbors, to new and creative experiences, our goal is to create meaningful moments where neighbors can engage, connect, and build lasting relationships.
The committee meets once a month and is made up of volunteer residents, including leadership roles such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, along with general committee members/ lead event coordinators. Any resident interested in serving is always welcome- we value fresh ideas, diverse perspectives, and community involvement at every level.
Stay up to date on upcoming events through the Norton Commons Weekly News email, or follow along on social media at Facebook (facebook.com/commonssocialcommittee) and Instagram (@thecommonssc).
Have an idea, question, or want to get involved? We’d love to hear from you at nortoncommonssocialcommittee@gmail.com
