Brain Balance of Louisville

Unlocking Potential in Every Child

At Brain Balance of Louisville, families find more than a program. They find a path forward. Led by Center Director Casey Stovall, the center helps children and teens overcome developmental challenges and reach their full potential through a personalized, drug-free approach to brain health.
Casey brings nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, working across community-based care, residential treatment, school settings, and private practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on early childhood and adolescent development from Southern New Hampshire University and is completing her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the clinic. She is also a proud dog mom to Lady, affectionately known as Ladybug, who once served as an emotional support companion for many of the individuals she supported.
Brain Balance was founded more than a decade ago by a parent and functional neurologist who saw families searching for lasting solutions. Drawing from principles of brain rehabilitation and neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change, the program was designed to address the root causes of developmental challenges rather than simply manage symptoms. Today, Brain Balance has grown to nearly 90 centers nationwide and has helped more than 50,000 children and families.
The program takes a holistic approach, combining cognitive training, physical and sensory exercises, and nutritional guidance. Each child begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify strengths and developmental gaps. From there, an individualized plan is created to strengthen attention, memory, emotional regulation, coordination, and overall cognitive function. Programs are available both in-center and virtually for children and teens ages 4 to 19.
What sets Brain Balance apart is its focus on identifying and addressing underlying imbalances in brain development, particularly how different areas of the brain communicate and function together. By targeting these areas with specific, research-based activities, the program helps build stronger neural connections and supports long-term improvement in learning, behavior, and emotional well-being.
Brain Balance of Louisville is also deeply connected to the local community. The center partners with schools and organizations such as FEAT of Louisville, Home of the Innocents, Bloom Counseling, and Park Community Credit Union, and provides professional development opportunities for educators and professionals working with children.
For families, the message is simple. Challenges do not simply resolve with time, but with the right support, meaningful change is possible. Early intervention can make a lasting difference, helping children build the skills they need to thrive.
