NoCo Clubs & Groups
Bridge Group
Resident Amelia Strasler is looking for NoCo neighbors who would like to join in regular games of Bridge. If you would be interested in getting dealt in for a game, contact Amelia at straslera@yahoo.com.
Common Readers Book Club
Do you love reading and talking about books? The Common Readers Book Club, founded in 2006, has been sustained by a love of literature and community fellowship. After the isolation of COVID-19, the members are eager to re-energize this group with monthly offerings, to be held in members' homes, porches, patios, parks, or other public venues chosen by the meeting host for that month. We are hoping to choose books for at least 3-6 months in advance to allow time to read and plan our events. Sharing food or refreshments enhances the gathering, but is not required. Selections, dates, and locations will be posted in the NC e-blasts. For more information or to be added to the mailing list, contact Cindy Rigby at gynerigby@hotmail.com.

Hallmark House Dementia Support Group
Every month at the Hallmark House in Norton Commons, a dementia support group meets to offer solace and guidance to those caring for loved ones with dementia. Held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 6 pm, each gathering begins with a brief educational segment lasting 10-15 minutes, followed by open discussions, either in group settings or one-on-one. This support group provides a vital opportunity for caregivers to connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of community. Our goal is to offer mutual support, educational resources, and practical advice to help navigate the challenges of dementia care.
