An Honor Rooted in Community
As we welcome the June issue of Stroll NoCo, I am feeling especially grateful, both personally and professionally.
Recently, I had the incredible honor of being named a Kentucky Colonel, an honor bestowed upon me by fellow NoCo resident Lacy Robinson. It is a recognition that means so much to me, and one I carry with deep appreciation for the community I am proud to be a part of.
Living in this community for the past 10 years and running this publication for the last 6 has truly been an honor. I love getting to know my neighbors, sharing the stories that make this place so special, and helping create a record of the history of our community. It is just as rewarding to partner with local businesses and watch them grow and flourish through the connections built within these pages.
This month’s issue highlights more of the people and stories that make NoCo such a wonderful place to live. I hope these pages leave you feeling connected, inspired, and proud to call this community home.
As always, I love hearing from neighbors. If you have a story idea, would like to nominate someone, or know a local business that would be a great fit for the neighborhood, please reach out anytime at Maria.Mears@strollmag.com. Your ideas and involvement are what keep this magazine meaningful and community-driven.
Thank you for welcoming Stroll NoCo into your homes each month. I hope June brings celebration, connection, and plenty of memorable moments with neighbors and loved ones.
See you around the neighborhood,
