Can you share a memorable experience or story from your life?
One of Linda’s most memorable seasons of life was raising her three sons with her husband, Don. Their family life was full of activity and togetherness. Linda rarely missed a race at the Fairgrounds Motor Speedway, faithfully bringing the boys along to cheer on their father. She was also deeply involved in their schools, serving as PTA president and room mother for each of their classes. Those years were filled with camping and boating trips, busy evenings, and the everyday joys of family life. Later in life, Linda and Don created many more special memories traveling the country together in their RV, visiting friends and family and exploring the beauty of America’s national parks.
Are there any particular accomplishments or achievements that you are proud of?
Linda is most proud of the family she and Don built together. Raising three sons who went on to build lives and careers of their own has always been one of her greatest blessings. She is also proud of her long and successful career in real estate, which she built while remaining deeply involved in her children’s lives and school communities. Balancing family, career, and community involvement was something Linda always valued.
Are there any life lessons or values that you would like to pass on to future generations?
The importance of family is one of the greatest values Linda would want future generations to hold close. Growing up on a farm surrounded by extended family taught her the importance of hard work, faith, and supporting one another. Through both joyful and difficult times in life, Linda has believed in staying strong, remaining kind, and appreciating the simple blessings that come from time spent with loved ones.
Is there anything else that you would like to share?
One of the greatest joys of Linda’s life has been being a grandmother. After raising three boys, she was especially delighted to welcome both grandsons and granddaughters into the family. She loved hosting family gatherings, preparing home-cooked meals, and filling her home with laughter during holidays and celebrations. Spoiling her grandchildren, attending their activities, and creating lasting memories with them brought her tremendous happiness and remains one of the most meaningful parts of her life.
