When & where did you adopt your pet?
We adopted her in 2005 in Eminence, Kentucky.
What made you decide to make your home your pet's forever home?
She was the sweetest kitty, and we loved her at first sight!
How did your pet get his/her name?
My mom thought, since she came from Eminence, Kentucky, that Emma would be a perfect name!
Does your pet have any favorite toys, places to sleep, visit, etc.?
Since she is 21, she really doesn’t play with toys much, but loves to sleep on the bed on top of the electric blanket.
Tell us something quirky or funny that your pet does:
She has a special meow when she is on the bed and wants to be under her blanket. When I hear the meow, I know I need to go back to the bedroom to pick up her small blanket and let her crawl under it and cover her head like she is under a small tent.
How has having your pet made your life better?
We all truly love her. My grandchildren love to come over and see her. She gives us purpose, and we are thankful for her each day because we know, at her age, she might not be with us too much longer.
Is there anything else you want to tell the neighbors about your pet?
She has a very loud voice! She also does very well when she flies in the airplane to Florida. She loves the Florida sunshine!
