What made you decide to make your home your pet's forever home?
After losing Goose in April 2023, hearts needed time to heal. Goose was such a special part of the family, and it took Mike quite a while before he felt ready to open his heart to another forever dog. Over Thanksgiving 2025, after a long search, Mike found Snoopy through Bluegrass Pet Rescue. Something about him just felt right. We knew he deserved a loving, stable home, and we were ready to give that again. Snoopy wasn’t meant to replace Goose—he helped us continue the love we had to give. Choosing to make our home his forever home was an easy decision because he became family from the moment we met him.”
How did your pet get his/her name?
He looks just like Snoopy! It was a perfect and the most fitting name!
Does your pet have any favorite toys, places to sleep, visit, etc.?
Snoopy definitely has his favorites! He loves his nightly “Pops” (his dessert) and carries them around everywhere. His favorite toys are his duck and his Snoopy toy, and he never turns down a good chew session with his Himalayan dog chew. When it comes to relaxing, Snoopy’s favorite place is right in bed with his people. He loves to cuddle, soak up all the attention, and act as everyone’s personal heater. More than anything, he just wants to be close to the people he loves.
Tell us something quirky or funny that your pet does:
Where do we even start? Snoopy is basically a full-time entertainer! He loves it when people chase him around the yard and turns it into a game every chance he gets. He’s also convinced that birds and ducks exist solely for him to chase. One of the funniest things about Snoopy right now is that he’s taking swim lessons and has become quite the little swimmer. He absolutely loves spending time with his two best friends, Waldo and Scout, and nothing makes him happier than heading to Pet Station Country Club for daycare. Seeing his friends and playing all day is definitely one of his favorite things. No matter what he’s doing, Snoopy always manages to keep us laughing with his playful, goofy personality!
How has having your pet made your life better?
Snoopy has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives. After losing Goose in 2023, home felt a little emptier, and Snoopy helped fill it with happiness again. He keeps us active, makes us laugh every day with his goofy personality, and never misses an opportunity to give cuddles. Whether he’s greeting us with excitement, snuggling in bed, playing with his friends, or simply being our constant companion, Snoopy reminds us to enjoy the little moments. He has a way of making even the toughest days better, and we truly can’t imagine our lives without him. He’s not just a pet—he’s family.
Is there anything else you want to tell the neighbors about your pet?
If there’s one more thing everyone should know about Snoopy, it’s that he absolutely loves being part of the community! One of his favorite activities is going for golf cart rides and feeling the wind in his fur. He also loves hanging out at TAP, where he gets to see all of his favorite people and make new friends. Snoopy never meets a stranger—he’s always ready for attention, pets, and a chance to spread a little happiness wherever he goes!
