North Ranch Resident Larry Marquart attended The 2025 Mardi Gras Ball held the Hyatt Regency Westlake Village at 5pm on Saturday, March 1st. Also in attendance was Lake Sherwood CC member and CEO of Senior Concerns, Andrea Gallagher. 

The evening commenced with a sparkling champagne reception and delightful entertainment from the Chris Banta Trio. Jeff Blum and Patricia Jones were also celebrated as the King and Queen of the 32nd Annual Mardi Gras Ball.  After guests mingled and enjoyed the music, they were treated to a luxurious gourmet dinner fit for royalty, followed by lively dancing to the tunes of Fifth Avenue Entertainment. 

A highlight of the festivities was the chance to participate in both silent and live auctions, featuring a variety of coveted items. Every ticket sold and bid placed contributed to an important cause, helping provide the community's most vulnerable residents with access to essential services at no cost through Community Conscience’s Human Services Center, which supports 14 non-profits rent-free. The overwhelming support from the community makes it possible for about 80,000 people in this community to find assistance in one convenient location at no cost.
