Westlake High School's cheerleading program came together on February 21, 2026, at North Ranch Country Club to celebrate an unforgettable season at their All Squads End-of-Season Brunch. The theme said it all: It's Been a Wickedly Good Season.
Inspired by the beloved Broadway musical Wicked, the morning brought together all four squads of Seniors, Varsity, JV, and Freshman along with their families for a celebration of hard work, dedication, and community. Across the squads, 55 cheerleaders were honored throughout the season for their spirit and commitment to the program.
One of the morning's most memorable moments was the presentation of varsity letters, a historic first for the Westlake cheer program, recognizing the athletes who met the program's highest standards of performance and dedication.
The event was co-chaired by North Ranch neighbors Jennifer Holtz and Jackie Myers, whose daughters, Danielle Holtz and Tatiana Zide, both WHS juniors on the Varsity squad, were among those celebrated on the day.
The North Ranch and Lake Sherwood communities are proud to call many of these talented young women their neighbors, including:
- Varsity squad: McCartney Garlock (Senior), Danielle Holtz (Junior), Tatiana Zide (Junior), Mickie Zuckerman (Junior), Tatum Arnett (Sophomore), and Emry Salter (Sophomore)
- Freshman squad: Olive Salter (freshman)
The Westlake cheer program is grateful for the support of this incredible community and looks forward to another spirited season ahead.
