Meet Bailey

The Not-So-Mini "Mini" Sheepadoodle with a Giant Heart.

When the Wechsler family—Mike, Jackie, Brayden, and Brooklyn—lost their beloved 3-year-old poodle, Harley, to a sudden autoimmune disease, the silence left in their home was loud. Harley had been a source of joy and constant laughter, a goofy burst of energy who filled every room with love. The house felt different without him.
But then came Bailey.
At just 3 ½ months old, Bailey Wechsler is already making a big impression—literally and figuratively. Technically, she’s a “mini” Sheepadoodle, but weighing in at 24 pounds and growing fast, the family has started to think someone at Gracewood Farm might’ve played a little joke. “We’re taking bets on how big she’ll get,” Jackie laughs. “There’s nothing mini about this girl!”
And it’s not just her size that’s turning heads. Bailey has one bright blue eye that makes her look like a tiny canine supermodel. “It’s the first thing everyone notices,” says Brooklyn, petting her fuzzy head.
Her name came from a TV show Mike was watching—“Bailey” just stuck. As soon as he said it, the kids were all in. “It felt right,” says Jackie. “And now we can’t imagine her being called anything else.”
Bailey is sweet, silly, and oh-so-excited about life. In fact, she gets so excited that she pees every time she sees someone. “It’s funny… except when you’re the one mopping the floor again,” says Jackie with a grin.
Despite the puddles and the puppy chaos, Bailey has filled a space in the Wechsler family that they didn’t even realize was still healing. Her playful spirit is bringing back the joy they missed, and her presence is a beautiful reminder that love, even after loss, finds its way back home.
