A Sweet New Sprout in the Neighborhood
Born early but thriving beautifully, Briar Lee brings fresh joy and new growth to the Bodle family and the neighborhood.
On October 22, 2025, at 10:08 a.m., Briar Lee Bodle made her debut into the world. Born to Jess and Bradley Bodle, she arrived at 5 lbs. 13 oz., seventeen inches long, and six weeks early. The Bodles have called Oak Creek home for just over five years and say they “love the family-oriented feel and how active everyone stays.” They also shared how much they adore their neighbors—now, they have someone new to adore.
When choosing her name, Jess and Bradley wanted “an outdoors-y, less feminine name,” and paired it with Lee, a family name on both sides. In her first few months, Briar has already discovered her favorite things: puppy snuggles, warm cuddles, and long neighborhood walks.
Though Briar is the Bodles’ firstborn, she joins two proud (and very curious) fur siblings: Bella and Hank. “Bella isn’t quite sure what to think yet since Briar can’t throw anything for her to fetch, and Hank has fully taken up the role of her guard dog,” the Bodles share.
Since Briar’s arrival, Jess and Bradley have been overwhelmed with gratitude for their community. Neighbors have checked in, brought meals, and offered support while they were in the hospital. “One neighbor even made her an adorable knitted winter hat, perfect for these chilly December strolls,” they add.
The Stroll Oak Creek team—and the entire Oak Creek neighborhood—are delighted to welcome sweet Briar Lee Bodle. We can’t wait to watch her grow!
