Hot Crackers
A bold, zesty snack with just the right amount of heat. These addictive crackers are perfect for parties, road trips, or everyday munching.
Ingredients
- 1 box saltine crackers (mini saltines work great)
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the vegetable oil, ranch seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well blended.
- Place the crackers into a large resealable bag.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the crackers.
- Seal the bag and gently shake to coat the crackers evenly.
- Continue to shake the bag every 15 minutes for about 1 hour to ensure all crackers are well coated.
Tips
- Let the crackers sit for a few hours (or overnight) for even more flavor.
- Adjust the red pepper flakes to control the heat level.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
