Moments Captured

A recent episode of the Welcome to Livingston Podcast explores how Party Fly Photography helps families, businesses, and communities fully enjoy life’s special moments while preserving the candid memories that might otherwise be missed.

If you pay attention this time of year, you will notice that there seems to be a lot of things happening. Large or small, Livingston County is packed with events, and it seems that something is happening all the time.  Whether you are hosting the event yourself or heading off to a string of parties, you know how hectic a party can get, and when the day is over, you may not be able to remember everything that happened.

That’s where our recent guest on the Welcome to Livingston Podcast comes in!  In this digitally packed age of social media, where we feel the need to personally record everything, she fills the important need of helping her clients enjoy their event today while providing them with images to relive it in the future.

Recently, we sat down with Lannie Stabile, owner of Party Fly Photography, to chat about how she impacts her clients and the long-term impact of hiring a photographer for their next event or milestone. Lannie’s infectious personality was on full display, and we could feel how much she cares about capturing those special moments for others. At its core, her mission is to help clients enjoy their event, record the important moments, and capture the essence of the party so it is not just the staged portraits we often end up with.

We all know that you hire a photographer for a wedding, but often, we don’t think about all the other events that have their own special place in our memories. If there was one thing that came through in our conversation, it is that someone needs to hold the camera, and when you take the photo, you are not in it. Hiring someone to capture the moment allows you to enjoy the party instead of worrying about recording it. Having the right photographer ensures those unique candid moments are captured and that important guests and milestones are recorded.

Just think about the many events happening in the communities of Oak Pointe this summer. Graduation Parties, Golf Outings, Baby Showers and Weddings at the Club, Birthday parties, family reunions, 4th of July fireworks at the beach, and so many more. We worry about planning the event, figuring out the food and drink, inviting the guests, and preparing the house so everything is perfect. Then the day arrives, and we run around making sure everything runs smoothly. Maybe we snap a few shots or ask someone to send pictures they have taken. Party Fly Photography fills the gap and captures the fun. She takes a very important item off the already full plate and adds a new dimension to the memories captured.

As Parents, small business owners, club members, and involved community members, this episode made us realize how many parts of events we miss because we are looking at it through our phones, instead of through our eyes. We worry that we will miss having the pictures, so instead we fixate on taking them. In this episode, we asked the question we didn’t know we needed to answer. What if you hired someone to record those important events? The next time you need to plan a party, business opening, reunion, networking event, or any special milestone, think about hiring a photographer and the great story pictures they can capture.
