MATRIX HUMAN SERVICES
Matrix Human Services, a 501(c)3 organization, has served the Detroit community and surrounding areas for well over 100 years. Catholic Women led the way in 1906 with a vision and mission to fight poverty. Next year, they will celebrate 120 years of service. Let's learn more...

Neighbor Rachelle Valdez is a board member of Matrix, a proven leader in uniting all human service efforts to move individuals and families toward self-sufficiency in our time and with your help... eradicating poverty in the mind, body and spirit. She wanted to take this moment to share the impact Matrix has had and continues to have on our community.
The Matrix Center is a community hub dedicated to delivering life-changing programs to families and individuals who need them most. They provide:
- Job training and career placement to help Detroiters secure meaningful employment
- After-school enrichment and youth development that keep children safe, engaged and inspired
- Homelessness prevention and homeownership counseling to stabilize and strengthen families
- Senior services and recreation that honor and care for our elders
- Financial literacy and empowerment education
- Basic needs, wraparound care, supportive services, and more!
Today, our mission remains the same as it was so many years ago as we continue to touch hearts and change lives in our community. With programs at more than 30 locations, Matrix Human Services serves more than 20,000 individuals and families each year, supporting adults, young children (birth to 5 years old), community health, and youth in the Detroit area.
If you wish to make a donation to support these vital programs, you will be joining a legacy of compassion and community impact that has touched the lives of thousands. For more information, go to MatrixHumanServices.org
