Pawsitive Pet Sponsors and Pet Wants Clarkston owners, Joe and Areej Alnaraie recently attended their National Conference in Las Vegas and had no idea that they would come home with not one, but two awards after opening their doors on Sashabaw Rd last January: "Highest Year-Over-Year Sales Growth" and "Franchise of the Year." Not bad for their first year.
They participated in several break outs as owners discussing topics as well as sat on several Q&A panels sharing their experience so far in the industry.
Vendors also attended the conference focused on, among other topics, the importance of quality ingredients in foods and formulas we feed our pets, including pet allergies and intolerances. grooming services and how to hire and retain quality employees.
Pet Wants Clarkston was mentioned as a model location for grooming and for having a zero turnover when it comes to employees. Nobody wants to leave! Even the employees. Maybe that has to do with the store's community involvement - something that comes so naturally for Joe and Areej. Their care and concern for the community make it easy for them to focus on proving the best pet products for every pet and pet owner who walks in the door at Pet Wants Clarkston.
Thank you Joe and Areej for introducing grooming services at Pet Wants Clarkston. If you have a four-legged furry family member needing a bath, a cut or a nail trim, I encourage you to make an appointment and give them a try. You can drop off your dog without worry, run an errand and return to a wagging tail, or you can have fun grooming your dog yourself or with one of your kids. Joe and Areej will provide everything you need -just be aware: you might get clean too!
Please continue to shop local and remember, if they don't have it on the shelf, just ask. Joe is happy to help you find what you need for your pet.
