As May unfolds across West Texas, there’s a familiar rhythm in the air—longer days, warmer evenings, and the unmistakable sense that summer is just around the corner. Here in Oakmont Estates, this season is a time for us to enjoy the outside, for our students to finish up their school year and the opportunity to celebrate the special people in our lives and those things that make our neighborhood feel like home.

This month, Stroll Oakmont Estates wants to honor the incredible mothers and mother figures who shape our families and our community. Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder to celebrate the quiet strength, endless patience, and unconditional love that so many women pour into their homes each and every day. Whether it’s through a handwritten note, a shared meal, or simply time spent together, we hope this day is filled with appreciation and joy for all the wonderful moms of Oakmont Estates.

As the month continues, we also come together in remembrance on Memorial Day. It is a time to reflect with gratitude on the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice allows us the freedoms we enjoy—gathering with neighbors, raising our families, and building a life in a place we cherish. As you spend the holiday weekend with loved ones, we encourage you to take a quiet moment to honor those who made it possible.

May is also a perfect time to enjoy the simple pleasures of your neighborhood—kids playing outside a little longer, evening walks , and the friendly waves and conversations that connect us all. It’s these everyday moments that make Oakmont Estates such a special place to live.
