Birdie learned the art of safe roaming from her late older sister, Bella, who taught her how to navigate the neighborhood and always make her way back home. Now, Birdie loves to “take herself on walks,” often meeting neighbors and making new friends along the way. She’s something of a local celebrity in Oakmont and Vintage—so much so that neighbors will shout, “Birdie, go home!” when they see her, and she dutifully trots back.

How Birdie Joined the Family
Birdie joined the family when Hudson, the family’s son, expressed a desire for another dog. They were lucky enough to secure one of the last puppies available from a friend right in the Oakmont neighborhood. Birdie was originally brought in as a hunting companion for their boys, Lane and Hudson, but she has seamlessly transitioned into a beloved family pet.

Birdie enjoys the finer things in life, from playing “golf” with her sister Aspen (which usually means stealing the golf balls) to spending time at the family’s favorite getaway: the Ranch. She’s spoiled with attention, love, and lots of outdoor fun, living her best Labrador life!
