August prepares us for something new, without rushing summer out the door
In many ways, August is a threshold month; that time when summer and new schedules overlap. It carries the season’s ease with more daylight hours and plenty of sunshine while pulling us towards the anticipation of fall and what comes next. Calendars slowly refill. Group chats shift from vacation plans to sports practices. August exists in that rare in-between space suspended between relaxation and routine.
Summer, of course, hasn’t ended. The pool is still open, and in many cases, there’s still traveling to be had, but the school year is knocking on the door, waiting to be welcomed. In this issue of Stroll Oakmont Estates, we truly savor summer while looking ahead. The fall is taking shape in the background, that weekday rhythm is picking back up. As we head into these final weeks of summer, enjoy that last minute trip, tackle those projects that need to be done all before summer truly ends before the fall really kicks in.
