October has arrived, and here in West Texas, we know that fall can be a little different. We may not always get the crisp, cool temperatures and changing leaves right away, but there is still something wonderful about this time of year. The evenings become a little more comfortable, and football is in full swing.

This new school year has taken on a nice routine, although busy, and we can enjoy and appreciate the neighborhood embracing the season by decorating their doors and porches with fall decor, mums and pumpkins.  Whether it’s watching  the kids get excited about Halloween, enjoying time with friends, cheering on your favorite teams  or simply taking advantage of a beautiful October evening here in Lubbock, it is a beautiful season.
