Happy March!

I love March. As a kid it was always my favorite month because it was my birthday and it was when the Kansas winter season started to change to spring. The bright yellow daffodils poked out of the ground and bloomed, hinting that the end of school was near and the city pool was calling my name.

Now, we've all been through a hard freeze, and my plants all look like they are dehydrated forms of themselves: droopy and sad. But what I have learned about Florida is by August, there will be no signs of the icicles that formed on my flower bush, fence, or air conditioner compressor...oops. The regeneration of growth is amazing, just add sun and water.

A little like life. I have felt droopy and sad, and it only takes one overly cheerful friend to pull me out of the house to paddleboard over any one of our amazing spring-fed rivers.

Sun and water; it fills my soul.

So add some to your plans this March.

In this issue, we celebrate with Jeanne the milestone of 90! Thank you to all the Contributors of this issue, especially Tyler Corson, with TWO stories (our overachiever!), as well as Bonnie Turetsky's wonderful photos and so much more. I am deeply grateful to all the businesses that support this publication and you, the reader. Thank you. Enjoy the March issue.
