40's Fashion Show a Hit at Ormond Memorial Museum
Resident Lorelei Shellist-Baldauf brings a dash of LA to Ormond Beach
Swim suits were modeled but nothing too risky for the 40's!
Resident Lorelei Shellist moved to John Anderson Drive from LA less than 2 years ago and got involved with the Museum's Guild. With her background as a high fashion model and dress designer, she pitched the idea of a planned fashion show into one from the 40's, engaging her friend Susan Claassen from California who impersonates fashion Icon Edith Head to come here for the fashion show finale. Guests were impressed with the local models, show and party at The Roof. "The amazing OMAM Guild raised $26,968! We are thrilled," said Exec. Director Stephanie Mason-Teague. A huge thank you to Lorelei, the Guild Volunteers, Stephanie and the OMAM staff as well as everyone who attended! Enjoy the photos from this event.
