The Cover of this issue was the result of a few willing souls to pose during a Sunset Social event recently. Thank you to all who are in this photo!  To talk about some of the connections that have been made, I sent a request to a few contributor and a few residents. I didn't know what would come in and I thank all the personal comments of appreciation that I edited out because I wanted this to be about community, not me. 

I am extremely humbled by stories written and others just told to me about finding new friends through the work I've done. From day one, I've said it's all about building community. For the Waterfront homes, there is no HOA or common way to connect everyone and I wanted to fill that role. I have done my best to keep your stories PRIVATE, never putting the magazine in it's total on the internet to be read by the general public. Our mailing list is private as well. This is exclusive and our aim is to keep your stories safe among Residents of Ormond's oceanfront and intracoastal-riverfront and historic homes near the intercoastal. Even our advertising sponsors are vetted to the best of our abilities. 

Since the backbone of our nearly 600 magazines across the country are made for gated communities like the publication we have for Heathrow or World Golf Village, this magazine took a lot of convincing to The N2 Company (my franchisor) to allow it, and to some advertisers who did not think a publication to "this area" would work because of the privacy issue. That was really discouraging. But after talking to three encouraging residents (Nancy Lohman, Bonnie Turetsky and Scott Studner), I decided I could only try. 15 companies that started with me that first year in 2016 have continued to renew giving them 9 year agreements in total! I am super excited when I find a business that makes a good fit to recommend to you. I thank ALL the Advertising Partners/Sponsors for making this publication possible, and I thank the residents who have used any of our Sponsors!
