Bella is a 7 year old Lab retriever, Boxer and Catahoula Leopard mix. She has been living with Lauren, Austin, Preston and Carson McCormick since she was 9 months old. Bella had quite a long journey before reaching the McCormick home. She was adopted at 3 months then returned to the shelter at 6 months. Then adopted at 7 months and returned once again. Lauren started volunteering for rescue dogs and offered to foster Bella. The family absolutely fell in love and ended up being her forever home!

Once she sees Lauren putting on her running shoes, Bella knows she is going to go on a walk. Whether it’s with Lauren or a family stroll, it's always a highlight of her day. She is also known for her love to swim especially after the walks! As soon as she reaches the house, she runs straight to the pool and dives right in. Bella is definitely the most outgoing in the house, however she can get a little protective. She has decided to take on the guard dog role. Unlike the McCormicks other dogs, who are more social, Bella watches the house like a hawk. Often scaring and startling delivery drivers!

Despite her protective side, Bella is a softie. She is so affectionate and loves cuddling up. Belly rubs are also part of the everyday. Every night, she makes sure to claim her spot on the end of bed. Bella has brought so much joy to this family and keeps them on their toes. She is their protector and also their little cuddle bug. They don’t know what they’d do without her!
