Meet Callie Jean. Callie Jean is an 11 year old Maltese that lives with her parents, Jaime and Kendall Garcia. The Garcia family welcomed Callie into their lives after the passing of their beloved previous Maltese. “The house felt too quiet, and I deeply missed the companionship,” Kendall shared. Despite her petite size, Callie carries a huge personality. She is bold and playful especially when chasing Kendall's parents' Bernese Mountain dog fearlessly around the house. And when they have company, she loves to show off her strength by dragging around her bed. Callie likely gets that personality from being extremely spoiled. As the only pet in the house with no children, she confidently runs the house.

Apart from her diva side, she is also very sweet and loves her parents. She is always looking for ways to stay in the presence of them. When Jaime and Kendall are away, Callie will lay in the closet to surround herself with their scent. Also generous with affection, she will give you hugs by wrapping her front paws around you and burying her head in your shoulders. And of course every night she has her routine of nightly belly rubs. She knows the exact amount and refuses to settle in until she receives every one.

Kendall says, “Callie Jean is the definition of unconditional love.” She has filled the home with so much warmth, energy and joy beyond measure. Not only to the Garcia family, but to everyone who is lucky enough to meet her.
