Introducing Reina!
Meet Reina. Reina is an adorable 9-month-old Havanese that lives with Lisa and Dave Allen. After being without a pet for about a year and a half, the family decided it was finally time to welcome a puppy into their home. They found a breeder in Conroe, Texas and couldn’t be happier with their decision. The Havanese breed descended from Cuba, so they thought the name Reina– meaning queen – suited her perfectly since she clearly rules the house. She even has her own privileged sleeping spot on the bed, where she hasn’t left since she was 4 months.
Reina is very easy to train and full of personality. Although she can be a little shy around other dogs, she is very friendly around people and loves to sit in anyone’s lap. One of the first things people notice about her is her incredibly soft coat of fur– Lisa describes it like a Jellycat stuffed animal. People are also often surprised by how high Reina can jump, especially for such a small dog. Reina recently went on her first flight over Thanksgiving break. Who knew a puppy could bark for 2 hours straight. The passengers were sure not fond of that. She definitely has her quirks, but the family loves her unconditionally and wouldn't trade her for anything.
