The Wright Family!
For Ben and Cassie Wright, home is about more than an address. It's the friendships they've built, raising two adventurous daughters in a close-knit community, and the everyday moments that have turned Starwood into a place they truly love.
The Wright family, which includes daughters Olivia ("Livi"), 8, and Sutton, 6, plus their lovable 85-pound Goldendoodle, Baxter, has called Starwood home since 2021. While they've built a wonderful life in Frisco, their story actually began in small towns across Arkansas.
Both Ben and Cassie attended the University of Arkansas, where they met through a unique entrepreneurship program called SAKE (Students Acquiring Knowledge through Enterprise). Cassie served as CEO of the student-run business while Ben led the sales team. The program concluded with an educational trip to China, and somewhere between classrooms, new experiences, international travel, and plenty of fun along the way, a friendship grew into something much more.
After graduation, they moved to Dallas to begin their careers, spending nearly a decade in East Dallas before eventually finding their way to Frisco. Today, the couple shares not only a home but also a business. Ben founded Risely, a digital marketing agency, in 2012. The company partners with home service businesses across the country, helping them grow through SEO, digital advertising, and AI search visibility. Cassie joined the business eight years ago after a career in consulting, bringing her accounting background to oversee the company's financial operations.
Working together is something they genuinely enjoy, and they feel grateful that building the business has allowed them the flexibility to stay involved in their daughters' lives while putting down roots in a community they love.
These days, much of life revolves around Livi and Sutton, who are always eager to try something new. Livi, who will be entering third grade at Spears Elementary this fall, is creative, outgoing, and never short on conversation. She enjoys dance at DCJ Dance, tennis, tumbling, cheering for the FFL 8U Saints, and recently discovered a love for swimming as a member of the Stonebriar swim team.
Little sister Sutton, who is entering first grade, is every bit as adventurous. Fearless and determined, she loves keeping up with her older sister while also forging her own path. She cheers for the FFL 6U Steelers, dances alongside Livi at DCJ Dance, has played soccer since she was 3 years old, and also joined the Stonebriar swim team this summer. One of the sisters' favorite memories was competing together on the same team in relay races.
The girls also enjoy joining Ben on the golf course at Stonebriar Country Club, where family time often comes with a set of clubs in hand.
Travel is another passion the Wright family shares. School breaks often mean trips back to Arkansas to spend time with family at their home in the Ozark Mountains, while summers have taken them to places like Telluride, Whistler, 30A, and the Bahamas. Ben grew up canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors, and those experiences continue to shape the way the family spends time together. Whether they're skiing, rafting, swimming, hiking, or simply enjoying an evening outside, the Wrights believe some of life's best memories are made outdoors.
When they’re not traveling, the Wrights love making the most of life at home in Starwood. Whether they’re hosting friends for a backyard cookout, celebrating a birthday, or enjoying neighborhood traditions—like their favorite Halloween celebration, complete with a caravan of golf carts—they cherish creating memories with the community around them.
The quiet, everyday moments are just as special. They love taking evening walks along the neighborhood trails, letting the girls ride their bikes, and stopping at a favorite bench near their home where the girls have played for years, often running into neighbors along the way.
For the Wrights, being part of the community also means giving back. Cassie has been deeply involved in the local schools, having served on the St. Philip's Episcopal Preschool PTO board—including a term as president—and now contributing to the Spears Elementary PTA as fundraising chair. Ben also supports local organizations and community events through his business, Risely, ensuring they stay active and connected in the place they’re proud to call home.
Those simple moments are what make Starwood feel special. For the Wright family, it is the combination of close friendships, active family life, and a welcoming community that has truly made Starwood feel like home.
What the Wrights appreciate most about Starwood isn't just the beautiful neighborhood—it's the people. They've found lifelong friendships, a place where their daughters can grow up riding bikes, playing outside, and creating the kinds of childhood memories they'll carry with them for years to come.
For the Wright family, Starwood isn't simply where they live. It's the community where they've built a life they love.
