Meet Truffle. Truffle is a 7 month old Shih Tzu who recently joined the Tran family. He now shares his home with Brooke, Steve, Elana, and Hanna, and is already bringing plenty of personality. For a while, the family felt like they were missing a piece of their family and sensed a dog would fill that place. They went searching for a perfect fit on a breeder website and immediately fell in love with his face. “He looked like a little coffee bean in the first pictures we saw of him, and we were immediately obsessed!” Brooke says. Elana always had a vision of a “Truffle Tran” (specifically chocolate) in the family, and it just so happened that the pup was also brown!

 

Within only 7 months of being alive, Truffle has already found a girlfriend! The family came across a Shih Tzu through Tiktok and met at the Kaleidoscope Park. Her name is Darla Dot and she has quite the attitude. At first, she was a little scared of Truffle’s ecstatic energy but soon got used to it and started chasing him around. They ran around with zoomies for 15 minutes straight! Truffle also often gets the zoomies right before he has to potty. That pup is full of energy all day long!

 

Besides his lively personality, he also loves to nap and cuddle. Truffle has already learned three new tricks including, fist bump, high five, and handshake; though, only for a treat of course. Within the short time since arriving at his new home, Truffle has completed the Tran family perfectly. He brings constant joy, love, and laughter, and has already helped create so many wonderful memories.
