Meet Chewy. Chewy is a 9 year old Mini Goldendoodle and a beloved family member

who shares a home with Daniel, Sadie, and Sophie Jo. Sadie grew up always surrounded

by family dogs and missed having that furry companion after moving to California. One

Christmas, to fill that absence, Daniel surprised her with with Chewy!

His name is inspired by one of Daniel's favorite things: Star Wars. The name Chewy

reminded them of Chewbacca, and as it turns out, it also fit his personality. As a puppy,

Chewy loved to gnaw on just about everything. During a trip to Seattle, the family was

staying in an Airbnb when suddenly the lights started turning off. They soon

discovered that it had been Chewy who chewed through all the lamp chords, leading to

an awkward conversation with the host! Luckily he has now grown out of that phase.

Although he has matured, his age certainly hasn't stopped him from being the most

energetic pup around. People are often surprised when the family mentions he is 9

years old. More than anything though, Chewy loves to cuddle. He would happily stay

snuggled with family all day if he could.

Chewy is also quite the spoiled pup, but the family wouldn't have it any other way. As he

lived his first five years in Cali, he spent a lot of time riding in trains around the cities

and going to work in the office. Now, he spends his day going on walks and enjoys

playing around in the park, especially on a nice cool day.

After nine years, he has filled the Myers home with so many memories, laughs and

countless cuddles. From having mischievous moments as a puppy to the most loving

dog he is today, Chewy will always be an unforgettable part of their family.
