In 1960, when ice cream duo Ben and Jerry were in 4th grade, the Starr family held Carnival Day at their Dairy Queen at 1056 Busse Highway. Park Ridge had two DQ stores for many years, the other at Devon and Canfield.  That location still going strong since the 1940's.
