Pizza, Pints, and Parks of Aledo
An evening at Parker County Brewing Co. brought together great food, local brews, gorgeous weather, and the kind of neighborly connection that makes Parks of Aledo feel like home
On Thursday, June 4, Parks of Aledo residents, partners, friends, and even a very special four-legged guest gathered for a relaxed and memorable evening at Parker County Brewing Co. The event began at 5:30 p.m., just as the evening weather turned gorgeous, setting the perfect scene for good food, cold drinks, and meaningful community connection.
Parker County Brewing Co. graciously hosted the group and treated guests to a generous sampling of some of their favorite appetizers and main dishes. From the moment the food started arriving, it was clear that everyone was in for a treat. Guests enjoyed three different pizzas, chips with salsa and queso, warm soft pretzels, and, to finish the evening on a sweet note, a delicious Nutella Oreo dessert pizza.
Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The pizzas were a definite highlight of the evening, with the meat lovers pizza quickly becoming the crowd favorite. Guests raved about the hearty toppings, the fresh flavor, and how perfectly the food paired with Parker County Brewing Co.’s beer selection.
Two drinks that received especially high praise were the Side Pony Blonde and the Peach Blonde. Both were refreshing, easy to enjoy, and a perfect match for the casual, welcoming atmosphere of the evening. Whether guests were sampling appetizers, visiting at the tables, or making their way to the bar, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of lively and laid-back.
A huge part of that smooth experience was thanks to Sara and Savanna, who were amazing throughout the evening. They made sure guests felt welcomed, had easy access to the bar, and could enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Their hospitality helped create a laid-back environment where everyone could simply enjoy themselves.
The outdoor space was also a favorite feature of the evening. Families appreciated having room for kids to move around, and pet owners loved the welcoming atmosphere for their furry companions. With the beautiful weather, great food, and open-air gathering space, it was exactly the kind of evening that makes local events feel special.
One of the brightest stars of the night was Otis, our June Pet of the Month, who graced everyone with his sweet and loving presence. Otis quickly became a favorite among guests and added an extra dose of joy to an already wonderful evening. It was only fitting that such a beloved pup joined in on a community gathering centered around connection, hospitality, and fun.
The evening was made even more meaningful by the presence of several Stroll partners along with a wonderful group of Parks of Aledo residents. Events like this are about more than enjoying a great meal. They are about building relationships, supporting the businesses that serve Aledo, and creating opportunities for neighbors to come together in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Parker County Brewing Co. provided the perfect backdrop for that mission. Their team, food, drinks, and atmosphere all came together to create an evening that felt both easygoing and memorable. Guests left full, happy, and already talking about how much they would love to see more events like this in the future.
As the Parks of Aledo community continues to grow, gatherings like this help strengthen the relationships that make our neighborhood feel like home. We are grateful to Parker County Brewing Co. for hosting such a wonderful evening and for helping create an experience that celebrated local flavor, local businesses, and the families who call Parks of Aledo home.
