For Megan, opening Woodhouse Spa was about more than starting a business. It was about creating a space where people can truly relax, recharge, and feel genuinely cared for. Passionate about building meaningful experiences and strong community connections, she was drawn to the Woodhouse Spa brand and its mission of making luxury wellness feel both approachable and welcoming.

Located in Eden Prairie, the boutique-style spa offers a full menu of elevated services including customized massage therapy, advanced facial treatments like HydraFacial, and restorative body treatments designed to rejuvenate both body and mind. Megan says what sets Woodhouse apart is simple: “We provide an experience, not just a service.” Every detail is intentionally designed to create a calming escape where guests can unwind without leaving their own community.

Opening the spa came with challenges, from navigating licensing requirements to recruiting highly qualified staff in a competitive industry. As a mother of two young children, Megan has also balanced the demands of entrepreneurship with family life, often working nights and weekends to help bring her vision to life. Despite the obstacles, she says the journey has only strengthened her commitment to building something meaningful for both her family and the community she serves.

That community connection remains at the heart of the business. Woodhouse Spa  regularly supports local organizations through volunteer work, sponsorships, and charitable giving, donating nearly $10,000 in spa services during the recent holiday season alone. The team also participates in food drives, local benefits, and community programs, with a special focus on supporting women’s wellness initiatives.

Megan and her family have proudly called Minnesota home for the past 15 years after relocating from rural West Virginia. Together with their two children, they enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and making memories together whenever they can.
