Woof! My name is Julep Rose, which is fitting since I was adopted Derby week. Sometimes my mom and dad call me JuJu. I am a beautiful Australian mix with crystal blue eyes. I still remember the day I was adopted, 9 1/2 years ago. My mom and dad went to Feeders Supply to see me. We were introduced in an enclosed area to get to know each other. There were other families in line wanting to see me, too, including someone on the phone to see if I was still available. The next thing I knew, I was scooped into my mom’s loving arms; my dad was signing papers, and then we went home! The best part was that I had a big brother, Wrigley, waiting to meet his little sister. Wrigley and I had five years together until he got cancer and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It was a sad time, but I helped by giving wet kisses and warm cuddles to mom and dad.

 In my big backyard, I play with my best friend, Ruby, a Westie. I love playing fetch with colorful, squeaky balls! Barking at the deer and turkey is my favorite pastime. I also have a collection of stuffed animals from all the places my mom and dad vacationed. They are all in perfect condition because I am a good girl and do not chew them. My favorite is Scooby Doo that I carry everywhere.

 I love my fur-ever home with my four comfy beds, a plethora of toys, a big backyard, and a mom and dad who are my entire world. I won the Doggy lottery!
