Do they have any special talents or quirks? Our bird laughs. He's funny. He says hello, hola, thank you, Up, up, up when he wants to be held. He loves eating scrambled eggs, fruit, pasta and peanuts! To show off, he will stretch out his wings to show his beautiful blue and red majestic feathers.  We say, “show me your blues”.  If we are in the room, he will get on the floor and walk over and strut in the room. Our dog is spunky and fun.  His nickname is “tank” because he’s all muscle and just runs around and over everything.  He is a great family dog. Our lizard’s cage is set up like a desert.  He loves eating dandelion greens, we give him those as a treat. His cage stays over 100 Fahrenheit with heat lamps.  In photos he looks like a giant, he’d look like Godzilla.
How did they come to join your family?  Our bird: We would go to visit a specialty bird store and the rest is history... Our dog: a neighbor posted that her 8-year-old daughter was allergic to her new dog, and they needed to rehome him. It was during the pandemic, and it was love at first sight.  Our lizard: we previously had one that passed, and we got Goji in his memory.
Any funny stories to share?  We used to put our bird in the crepe myrtle in our backyard. He loved it. We would give him mist showers and he would climb and play. His feathers had grown out and one day he flew off to a neighbor’s roof.  He was trying to get down but was unable to do the wind and was being moved to the adjacent roofs.  He disappeared for hours around the neighborhood, we informed our neighbors via the WhatsApp group to help us find him, we were devastated thinking that he had vanished.  The next morning, we spotted him in our neighbor’s roof and with the help of construction ladder my husband was able to retrieve him. He could have flown away, but truly loves us and came back home.

How spoiled is your pet? They all get love and attention. They bring us so much joy!
