More than twenty years ago, what began as a simple home improvement challenge became the foundation for a thriving business built on trust, reliability, and exceptional service.
Like many homeowners, we were looking to have work done at our house and quickly ran into frustration. I was traveling frequently and didn’t have the time to tackle projects myself. We called several contractors—many never returned our calls. Friends and neighbors shared similar horror stories: no-shows, unclear pricing, and feeling taken advantage of. When we finally hired someone, we were disappointed with both the quality of the work and what we paid for it.
Not long after, I came across the Mr. Handyman model, and it immediately stood out. What impressed me most was how different it was from anything else in the industry—real customer service representatives answering the phone, bonded and background-checked technicians who were actual employees (not subcontractors), uniformed professionals in clearly marked vans, transparent pricing, and guaranteed appointments and guaranteed work.
I reached out to the franchisor and was thrilled to learn that the territory where I lived was available. I made the decision to sell the business I owned at the time and purchased my first Mr. Handyman territory. Fast forward twenty years, and we are proud to now operate three territories.
Serving Pinehills, One Project at a Time
Over the years, we’ve completed countless projects in The Pinehills community. Our work spans everything from deck repairs and refinishing, drywall and tile work, bathroom remodels, and basement finishing, to installing grab bars, painting, replacing doors, and so much more. Simply put, if it needs fixing, repairing, or improving, chances are we’ve done it.
One of the things that truly sets Mr. Handyman apart is our approach. From the moment a call is answered to the follow-up after the job is complete, we focus on delivering a great experience. We believe no job is too small—and we mean it. While others may say that until a larger job comes along, we remain committed to helping homeowners with projects of all sizes.

This time of year, we’re especially busy with weatherization projects, helping homeowners prepare their homes to stay comfortable and efficient through the colder months.
We also recently introduced financing options for larger projects, giving homeowners greater flexibility when planning improvements.
